Express Solidarity to the Child Learn (Netherlands) Marathon. Childhood is meant to learn, not to earn!!

The Child Learn Netherlands has been a strong pillar of support for the BWI Child Labour Project in the South Asia region - particularly in India. The Child Learn Netherlands directly supports seven schools and has contributed towards development of infrastructure and conducive learning environment for the erstwhile child labourers in India.

The Child Learn Netherlands organised a very successful marathon in the year 2010 to support the project interventions. This year, on 26th June (Sunday) in addition to a marathon – a special kids run is being organised by Henry and Christine Okkersen in Schimmert, the Netherlands. The proceeds shall be utilised for erstwhile child labourers education through Child Learn Netherlands.

The partner unions in India – children, teachers, parents and union members are overwhelmed with gratitude and have sent wishes and messages on signed banners to express their solidarity to colleagues in the Netherlands.
