Railway Labour Union stages sit in against delay in Salaries

PESHAWAR: In Peshawar three different Labour Unions of Pakistan Railway staged protest on railway track and stopped the Awam Express which was on bound to Karachi.

It has been reported that the workers of Labour Union, Prem Union and Workers Union assembled here at the Peshawar Cantt Railway Station where they protested against the government and Railway authorities due to delay in their salaries.

They demanded that the remunerations should be paid before Eid while the railway administration said that they do not have enough money for the payment of salary.
